Reserved Mind

I am not including any political views in this blog, I am just writing about what I felt about or from the current political "hulla".

Here are my 2 cents on the reservation issue:-

Lots of mail flooded around, IT did its best to stop it. People descried it; menacing attempts made to stop it. Students rall'ied, eyes wept and lives put at stake. No wonder, future was clear and it looked more clearer when the verdict was announced by our Honorary HRD minister; a extended increase in quota to our brethren. Alas! .

"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high Where knowledge is free Where the world has not been broken up into fragments By narrow domestic walls. "

Now these lines of Rabindra Nath Tagore seems a 'ah' story and sighs of hope.

Don’t you think current reservation "hulla" is personally and politically motivated? And, by playing reservation card Arjun Singh is strengthening his position in Congress CIRCLE. His interest is not whether any OBC gets the advantage or not. ( See the interview taken by Karan Thapar, anyway this whole interview was a joke) .Can you believe our honorary minister does not even care to know the basic data to bolster his point? The interview seems to be a TV play where the actors are real, plot is real and "the end" is crystal clear . Total masala...

His sole aim seems, is to bring the amendment and get the credit for it. And, he is least worried about the consequences. This man, "Human Resource Depletion/ Destruction / ..." minister does not care to do some ground work before bringing this suggestion.

FACTS like " re-thinking about the roots, and making primary Education equally available, ..." are just theory, and they look good on paper. Who cares for these? How will THEY come in limelight if they work on such earthly issues? It's like everybody wants to be on the front page of "Playboy" .

Arjun Singh is not fool when it comes to politics, he knows when to play the cards. He knows about the importance of OBCs vote and he has moved strategically by bringing this suggestion. If you look around his profile, he was continuously sidelined by inner Congress circle members. So what he should have done? Bring the reservation amendment, where nobody will dare to speak and strengthen his position. This is good reply to BJP, now the game starts "Religion vs Caste ".

The solution to such type of problem would be- bring the basic requirements of common mass like education, food etc, under the umbrella of Supreme Court, where no political party can make moves for its advantage. A long way to go, but too long way to go.

Now the question is "Are you still proud of being Indian?", "Does your auditory modality still pleases you, when you hear these words? "

Lots of signature campaigns were held and lots of adjectives/tantras were thrown to awake the INDIANESS of omnipresent INDIAN. But decree was straight.

In my opinion, "signature campaign" will not create any wave or send any signals to incumbent politicians. I read one petition created by "RATION-ALLY (..true) THINKING INDIAN" at "http://www.PetitionOnline.com/DONTVOTE/ ", I was just wondering about the role of INDIAN. My conscience says, and urges to doubt this INDIAN. Why this INDIAN does not play a role in solving other issues like "Unemployment, population.. Literacy"?

I believe that passive participation through these sorts of petitions will not bring any change, but one advantage I feel that at least IT is doing its bit to bring awareness. There is no escape from this sort of predicament until unless (we) INDIAN start participating actively.

If we look at the root cause of this problem we will find that solution lies in our hands. Why do we wait and watch? How many of us even care to vote or elect right candidates?...

Lots of question.. I am also an INDIAN who likes to sit in the comfortable AC room, and suddenly wakes up to protest. His scattered articulation will be unheard because he too is opportunist! And Arjun Singh may always win.

Bahut ho gaya... game khalas. Apni choti si khopdi ko jyada satkane ka nahi

I support reservation becoz ...

I got this forwarded message....
--------------------------------------------------------------
I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I
completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this.
Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 30
percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified
accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST
player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six
and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC
player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century.

We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like
Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers
should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player.
Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.

Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race,
an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.

There can be reservation in Government jobs also.
Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying
the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country.. )

Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the
ministers and other politicians.
(Another way of saving the country..)

Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA
forward...
Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country.
Let's be proud of being an INDIAN..

May the good breed of politicans like ARJUN SINGH long live...

Creative Toilets

Nice one ;-)
